Roxanne DeMarco Rickert has worked across private, nonprofit and government sectors to bring impactful change to domestic and international communities. She currently works as the Community Development Director at First Southwest Bank, one of two certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Banks in Colorado, and First Southwest Community Fund. In her role, Roxanne helped found First Southwest Community Fund and has successfully sought funding for FSWB and FSWCF to better serve rural small businesses through the capitalization of multiple revolving loan fund programs and technical assistant grants. Roxanne handles everything CDFI related, including annual certification, advocacy, compliance and reporting, and leads impact measurement and evaluation for both entities. Prior to her current role, Roxanne led press and research for a gubernatorial campaign in Michigan, ran communications for a lobby shop in DC, and worked for two think tanks focused on nuclear nonproliferation. Roxanne is a graduate of the University of Georgia and bleeds red and black.
