Tanya manages Colorado Outreach for the national organization Small Business Majority. She most recently supported small businesses in her role as CEO and Director for the Western Garfield County Chamber of Commerce, representing rural regional communities in Western Colorado. Born and raised in Colorado, she has generational roots across the state. She is emphatic about helping all small businesses and entrepreneurs pursue their dreams and always has a lens on inclusivity of all races and cultures to support diversity and equity in our statewide communities. As a Latina, she is passionate about advocating and supporting our Latino communities and does this with bilingual outreach, integrating both English and Spanish in marketing and hosting webinars simultaneously in English and Spanish. Decades of broad experience working in banking, education, marketing, and management enhance the value she brings to her work. In today’s evolving business market, she always pursues solutions by utilizing her creativity and vast experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, grandson and family. She is a “foodie” and loves trying new cuisine, hiking, antiquing, going to concerts and playing with her spoiled dogs and chickens.
