Since its founding in 2015 by First Southwest Bank, the First Southwest Community Fund has been on a mission to provide inclusive, equitable access to capital and gap funding for rural Colorado entrepreneurs and small business owners. Over the past decade, we’ve empowered rural communities by advancing the resources needed to grow businesses and strengthen local economies.
Our Focus:
- Affordable Loans: Delivering low-cost financing that fuels business growth and success.
- Grants: Driving innovation with funding for training and technical support.
- Education: Offering workshops, webinars, and events to equip entrepreneurs with essential skills and insights.
In the last ten years, we’ve invested over $28 million, helping entrepreneurs create 980 jobs and retain 400 jobs across Colorado. As we celebrate this milestone, we renew our commitment to fostering innovation, resilience, and opportunity in rural Colorado for the next decade and beyond.
Here’s to continued impact, growth, and success for rural Colorado!
