Azarel Madrigal, First Southwest Community Fund Program Director, has been selected as one of six fellows from across the state to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Boettcher Foundation’s Doers & Difference Makers Fellowship.
The nine-month Fellowship runs from August 2021-April 2022, and brings together leaders from communities across Colorado. The goal is to connect them with one another, and the tools and resources they need to augment the impact they have on their communities and the state.
“I am honored to have been selected to the inaugural cohort for the Doers and Difference Makers Fellowship with the Boettcher Foundation. I am humbled to be part of this program with such an amazing cohort of leaders from across the state. I look forward to this nine-month journey and I hope I come out a better, more competent champion for historically disenfranchised communities. I applaud the Boettcher Foundation’s commitment to investing in the citizens of Colorado.” – Azarel Madrigal
