How to set pricing in a service based business is uniquely challenging. Pricing is usually based on the cost of goods sold, but in a service business, your cost of goods is your time, plus any supplies, plus the drive time to and from the job site. On top of that, clients often say “well, while you’re here, can you just do this one other thing?” Then at the end of the job, they’re surprised that the price has gone up. Presented by Jessie Burg.
